Dizzy
Growing up in Bakersfield California Darian Cooper aka Dizzy Dspill was always passionate about music. Even though "Dizzy D" is known for his deep and slightly funny word play in Rap music, Dizzy D aka the Monopoly man grew up loving music from artists such as Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield, Al Green and James Brown.
Dizzy dspill started Rapping and producing at the age of 13 years old. The name Dspill was given to him by his older Brother. He later created a meaning behind it which meant "Darian Stays Performing Ill" and put dizzy in front of it for style.
Even though he was and still is very talented in the music department of entertainment. He inherited his passion, drive and work ethics from his long time friend CaAz (Glenn Goreman) Rockwell. Soaking up the knowledge of writing and producing from his and mentor Dizzy Dspill because something more then music. He became a Influence.
His influence became so huge it caught the attention of another long-time friend of his Terry (Boyaamazin) Predium. After a long partnership of performing in lunch Cyphers and Rap battles in high school they took their/Dspills talent to the next level.
Dizzy Dspill has recorded over 200 songs in his underground career and currently has Two mixtapes: The Long Kiss Goodnight & I'm So Dizzy. In the summer of 2013 He released his first Mainstream project :First Year Veteran and his website www.Dizzydspill. com. He also Established his independent record label Maddflowz Music which has been his dream since he was a child.
With heavy support from local artists such as : CaAz Rockwell, Edgar AL Poe, Kwoodz, Boyaamazin and Wayne Micheals, he has experienced much success as a independent artist. Dizzy also has a clothing line in the works for 2014 and multiple albums and projects on the way. He is always looking for positive movements and the growth of good music. In his own words Dspill says "The Love of the music is what keeps me fueled" and from what he has accomplished it is definitely true.
