John Spooner a 77 year old man has been found guilty of First Degree murder of 13-year-old Darius Simmons. It was an intentional homicide. The old man could not make a self defense claim due to the video surveillance taken by the old mans own camera. It was revealed in court that the act had been caught on video by one of Spooner’s personal surveillance cameras, and the video was shown in court of Spooner shooting the 13-year-old boy to death.
