“Sexual harassment and sexual assault in the military are a profound betrayal of sacred oaths and sacred trust,” A recent statement made by Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel at recent West point academy’s ceremony. “We cannot fail the army or America. We cannot fail each other. And we cannot fail the men and women that we lead.” Those statements followed by President Obama echoing this issue is a key indication that there is STILL an epidemic of sexual misconduct in our Armed Forces.
